This post is about independence. A subject near and dear to my heart. We have been conditioned to believe our rights come from government. This is completely alien to the founders of America who believed our rights come from our Creator. That by simply being alive we are endowed with certain inalienable rights. In other words, rights that *cannot* be infringed upon by *anyone*. Rights are not something magically handed down by a bunch of people (politicians) who are more concerned about power and being re-elected than securing liberty for the people.
I struggle with convincing people that they are already free. It’s so frustrating to see so many people who wait with baited breath for the Supreme Court to “rule them free”, or a dirty politician to “make a law” telling them they are now free. Or another favorite… wait to see which guy gets (s)elected who will magically “give” us our freedom (as long as it’s “our guy” that gets (s)elected, because if it’s the other guy, well, we won’t be free anymore… even though whichever guy gets (s)elected we are going to lose more of our liberty. If we believe that liberty is something that is handed down from government) Or how about this one we can all relate to: Waiting for an “official” to tell us it’s okay to rip off the face diaper and be “allowed” to breathe freely. Seriously??
Several of my posts over the years have been about independence. Declaring our *own* independence in any way possible, regardless of what a few hundred politicians say. Until they get their spy grid firmly in place, there’s no way they can control 350 million people. It’s just not possible. Yet. Once they have completely convinced most people they must carry a cell phone with them 24/7 (and they’re almost there on that one). Once they convince us that money is what they say it is and we must do whatever they tell us to get that money (and that’s coming in one form or another). Once they coerce and threaten everyone into getting a digital ID… Until then, and even after, they won’t be able to control all of us. They won’t have enough enforcement or facilities to put millions of people in prison. But they may try.
If you are hiking in the woods of Alaska carrying just a pocket knife and you have an encounter with an angry Grizzly Bear you will, more than likely, be mauled to death. But, if you are properly outfitted and prepared, there’s a chance you will live. If you are educated about what you should and shouldn’t do when faced with a Grizzly you will either be able to escape, kill the bear, or maybe get a light mauling… depending on your level of preparation.
If you run into a swarm of bees carrying a fly swatter, you will most likely be stung multitudes of times and may possibly expire from anaphylaxis. But, if you have the proper equipment, you can walk through the swarm unscathed.
The tyranny being foisted upon us is the bears and bees.
Knowledge is power!
What are you doing to declare your independence? What are you planning to do if and when more and more of the insanity we’ve been witnessing comes down the pipe? Are you going to ignore it and take your chances? Are you going to accept more and more tyranny without even pushing back a little? Do you plan to go along with everything just hoping that down the road a politician will save you and “give you back” your liberty? Are you even aware of what’s going on behind the scenes in this world?
I don’t mention the lingering and impending tyranny to scare people. Quite the contrary. I mention these things because it’s our responsibility to save ourselves. It’s up to us to stand firm. It’s our duty to declare our independence and refuse things we know are only going to enslave us, and our progeny, for generations. We can only do this when we are aware of what’s going on. I don’t mean we should be sitting around wringing our hands and fretting about everything. Not at all. I mention these things because the only way to be prepared is to know what is coming.
If we know a hurricane is headed our way, we board up our windows, hunker down, or possibly even evacuate. The same goes for a tornado… if we know about it, we can find better shelter. If we know a flood is coming, we prepare. If we know a winter storm is coming that will plunge temperatures into the minus 20 or 30 degree range we’ll bring in extra fire wood. If we know… *If* we know… we can prepare.
This is what I advocate. Knowing. Not worrying. Let your knowledge empower you and motivate you to *do something* about your situation. It’s impossible to prepare for every scenario, but it is possible to prepare for some things. If you know something is propaganda, or even if you’re a little bit suspicious that it is, ignore it! Fight against it! Shield your mind and your heart from it. Say NO to it.
Are you growing your own food? Are you learning to can and preserve food? Have you put some things aside “just in case”? Are you practicing leaving your slave device (cell phone) at home once in a while? Are you turning this slave device off at night and/or putting it in a farraday bag? Are you trying to remember what it was like to do business writing checks and or using cash? Are you finding ways to communicate with your loved ones that doesn’t require being connected to the grid? Are you talking to your neighbors to see what their stance is on certain things without coming across as a loon? Are you setting the example?
I believe it is going to be our responsibility to show the next generation how to stand in the face of tyranny. That doesn’t mean running for a weapon and ammunition to have a civil war. That would end up destroying everything and, if we think we have it bad now, just wait and see what this country would look like after a nasty civil war. If anyone thinks we would have more liberty at the end of that… they’re kidding themselves.
I’m all over the map here, and I apologize. My point is, and always has been, do *something*, *anything* that allows you to declare your independence from any kind of government overreach. I know, the system has made it very difficult to do, but it can still be done. Much of that independence is a mindset more than an action. It’s the belief that you have the right to be free, independent, and to be left alone.
Our weapon against tyranny *is* our independence. We don’t need government to tell us we are free and independent. We just have to believe it in our hearts and practice it in our lives to the best of our ability. You will be amazed at how satisfying it is to declare your independence, and it’s long past time that every one of us does this.
The propaganda bit is extremely important. It doesn't do you any good to own a gun if your mind is enslaved.
