I recently booked a flight. Ugh. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m really excited to see family I haven’t seen since July of 2020 when I was the only person in the Denver airport not wearing a face diaper. I’m an Army Veteran and that day was the scariest day of my life because, in my tensed-up gut, I was just daring someone to say something to me as I waded through the absolute insanity of irrational fear and panic. Memories of Soviet soldiers peering through their rifle scopes while I lay prose on “the line” didn’t compare. Luckily, no one said a word. I hate confrontation, but I was totally ready to confront anyone who even mentioned one thing about me not participating in one of the most ridiculous rituals I’ve seen in my 60 years of life on this planet. (And I got to watch another ritual on the plane where a masked, goggled and gloved woman proceeded to look disdainfully at me as she used alcohol wipes in an attempt to sterilize everything from her tray table to her *entire* seat on the jet, but that story for another day…)
Anyway, as I watch streams of campers, boats, RVs and every other decadent and materialistic toy known to man stream through my town for summer “vacation” I often ask myself, “how many of these people think that their lives are ‘back to normal’”? I’d wager almost every single one of them. Even though gas is $4.00 a gallon, 8oz of sour cream that used to be .79 cents is now a whopping $2.79, a rib-eye steak is “on sale” for $19.99 a pound, a quart of ice cream is “on sale” for 2 for $9.00. And, more importantly, I still see half-page ads in our local newspaper telling people to get their “safe and effective” “Covid-19” shot and/or booster!
To top it all off, I see this in my “travel ready” section on my United Airlines confirmation page:
I’m assuming this means that I’ve met whatever ridiculous requirements there are to travel on one of United Airlines jets. I’ve done my part… even though I’ve done nothing. How dare they.
No. It’s not over.
Until I see every mention of “Covid-19”, Monkey Pox (I know I’m not supposed to say Monkey because it may offend some people), RSV, and all of the other scary, scary, scary “diseases” removed from all websites, newspapers, etc I’m going to stay frosty and on alert. The reason they don’t remove any of this verbiage is because they want to be ready to easily transition to “the next one”. The next one we have been promised by the likes of the monsters Bill Gates, Joe Biden, et al.
And then I see this: “White House launches new Office of Pandemic Preparedness”
After all, the way we have dealt with diseases in the past 200 years wasn’t working, right? I mean, the way we used to deal with scary diseases (protect the vulnerable, quarantine the very ill, and let everyone else get on with their lives) didn’t destroy enough lives, so now we need a new bureaucracy to make damn sure that people suffer even more under the thumb of an inept group of keystone cops posing as our saviors. And what do you bet that eventually the “employees” of said agency end up being armed like the FDA, BLM, IRS and every other agency under this way too big monstrosity posing as a government of, by, and for the people?
No, it’s not over. Not by a long shot. I’d say these monsters are just getting started.
They can’t wait for “the next one” (whether that be some ridiculous “climate crisis” or another so-called “pandemic”) to try out all of their shiny new “powers”.
The thing is, none of these “powers” are new. They are the same tyrannical “powers” that have been used for centuries, and dare I say, millenia to enslave, disparage, control, and burden people, while undermining their liberty.
I’m sorry to be such a downer. I just wanted to remind everyone that we can *not* forget what has been done to this country and the people over the last 3 years. Please don’t let people tell you to “move on”. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get on with our lives, but we need to have our spidey sense at full alert. Not living in fear, but living in a prepared state of mind. Mustering our creator-given courage and resolve.
Commit yourselves now to drawing a line in the sand. Psych yourself up now to stand behind that line come hell or high water and even if people really are dropping dead all around us, to stay strong in the face of what we know to be a bunch of power drunk politicians that do *not* care about us and who are walking lockstep and arm in arm with their evil masters along with literal mad scientists who are rubbing their hands together as they maniacally think up the next thing they can release on the populace for their masters in the corporations that are preparing to make billions off of our suffering (and the subsequent “solutions”)… again.
We only lose if we forget history. And we seem to do a lot of forgetting…
Not living in fear, but living in a prepared state of mind.
Amen! Unfortunately, this makes you an extremist looney in the minds of normies. It must be wonderful viewing the world through the eyes of a child.
You are correct sir. The powers that be are just getting started on the plans they have been making for decades, at least. Normal won't be the normal we remember pre-19 but a normal that will seem to never settle. On the other hand, this is a great time to nail down who you are, what you believe and why (Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life) as well as planning/implementing strategies to help yourself, your family, friends and others when times get rough(er). I spent the weekend with a couple twenty somethings (cousins) and said something to the effect of "the next fifty years are going to be rough" in terms of societal angst, corp. and governmental corruption and just plain getting by. I felt bad saying it but they best gird their loins, if you will, with the truth because they will be tempted and tried at every turn of life. (1Peter5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour).
