I wish we could do a Great Reset on lawns. Think of how much stronger and more resilient this country would be if we replaced all lawns with vegetable gardens.

No doubt FRI. Factory farms would become almost obsolete. The "food agenda" is as bad as the "vaccine" agenda. They, them, those (the ones that won't leave us alone) absolutely want centralized control of *everything* (including our bodies). One of the reasons I am always nagging people about growing food is that, just like the guns in America, it's harder to take away something when millions upon millions of people are all doing it. America, START GROWING FOOD!

About the job thing, I also left a higher paying field decades ago.

I did it because of the hours and the unreasonable level of responsibility.

Per hour, the pay was not that good and I took a lot of anxiety and stress home with me.

Instead, I went for a less stressful job that's hands on, but not too strenuous.

I needed less and less things at home which cut my costs and stress of obtaining stuff. George Carlin has a funny bit about that.

The trade off was worth it because it's a much more stable field and I've learned tons of useful skills that could be used elsewhere.

That's awesome Rob. I wish I had all of the time back that I wasted working insane hours instead of spending it with family that is now long gone. The worst part is... I really don't have much to show (material items) for all of the wasted time I spent laboring for money... What a waste.

Get extra (paper) napkins if you go out to eat. They make good "kleenex," too.

That was a very good list. I have been doing that for years. I have used my bicycle to get around here in the UK and used to go on cycle tours. My wife and I drive but try to do so only when difficult to go by other means. We have a local village shop and can cycle to a larger village with railway station about 2.5 miles away.

Paid off the mortgage a while back, as soon as we could.

We don't have air con which is, after all, a bit of a con! There are good ways to control temperature as you indicate. In the middle east they have some really interesting structures going back centuries.
