Reaching the Lost
Why so many of us are frustrated when trying to convince others of the truth right before them.
“People in a cult don’t know they’re in a cult. But everyone else can tell.” Oliver Markus Malloy
If there is one thing most of us have experienced over the last almost 6 years, it has been the frustration of showing people facts, charts, graphs, videos, and other proof that something is “just not right.” I have given this a lot of thought because there are few things more disheartening than knowing the truth and not being able to get someone to, at a minimum, think outside their dogma.
As a Christian, I know it would be nearly impossible for someone to change my core beliefs. There is no one (even if they claimed to have proof) who could convince me that what I have experienced in my life is not real. That the good I have witnessed came from anywhere but an amazing God that resides in a spiritual realm who intervened on my behalf. That being said, my views on certain specifics in the scriptures have evolved and changed over time as I have come to understand certain things better and have been able to learn to read in a way where context affects the things I read in the Bible and other “religious” type documents. In other words, I do not just take one verse (like so many believers of all faiths do) and quote it saying that just the words in that verse matter, and none of the words before it or after it affect how that verse pertains to whatever topic I am studying at the time. In other words, I have an open mind about the truth. I want to learn and change my viewpoint as long as it does not sway me from the real truth.
Why then, if many of us can change our minds about certain details as it comes to our beliefs, are the huddled masses nearly impossible to reach with the truth about certain things? In this post, “things” means “vaccinology”, fake “left vs right” politics, and almost the entire medical industrial complex.
Americans used to have deep seated religious ideals. Almost everyone either believed in God, or most of their family believed even if they themselves did not. As unbelievers worked feverishly (especially over my lifetime) to convince people that spirituality is a myth and there are no standards of right and wrong, good and bad, or righteousness and evil, people have looked to the “approved” gods that do not require any self-sacrifice and do not require anyone to feel uncomfortable because of their beliefs. Government, pharmakeia (pills), allopathic “doctors,” “vaccinology,” and pop culture have become the new gods. These gods tell us what to think and believe, requiring very little sacrifice on our behalf. We just need to do what we are told. Those at the top of these structures have become the demigods in these evil systems that delude, deceive, and propagandize the people to such a thorough extent, that the victims of these systems not only do not know a way out, but they do not even want a way out. They have learned to accept and love their enslavement (cult).
Again, but why?
For a couple of years in my younger days, I studied cults. I am no expert on them by any means, but as I have watched and witnessed the utter madness over the last couple of decades (but especially over the last almost 6 years) I have been reminded of the characteristics of cults. Most people do not know what the characteristics of a cult are and, for many, they do not even realize they have joined a cult and are actively supporting it. In some instances, people are even willing to die for their chosen cult. We saw this clearly after the experimental mRNA gene editing injections, *falsely* being called “vaccines” were being given. We would hear and read things like, “I am sicker than hell, but thank god (notice the little G) I got the ”vaccine” because otherwise, it could have been so much worse.” Or one of my favorites, “My mother died after taking the “vaccine” and she would do it again!” Another one I experienced here locally was a mother visiting her 9-year-old son in the hospital who exclaimed with glee, “My son had a little heart attack after getting his “vaccine” but he was so brave!”
We all have these kinds of stories. It was obvious to us who are aware, that these people were/are out of their minds. These are the kinds of people we could present with 25 peer reviewed studies about almost any subject, and they would *still* adhere to their chosen dogma with a fervor and faith that would put most Christians, and believers of other faiths, to shame.
And yet again, Why?
Let us peek at the characteristics of cults. It is imperative that all of us who are aware and “awake” realize just what we are up against and how much work we have ahead of us. Cults are pesky institutions, especially cults that have been practicing their “religion” for decades or even hundreds of years. The only way things will start turning around is if we all become cult deprogrammers (possibly a post for another time). The problem, and sad fact, is… the cult member typically must have at least a tiny desire to leave the cult if they are to be reached.
The characteristics listed below apply not only to the cult members, but also the cult leaders who are under the spell of the cult.
1. Absolute authoritarianism without accountability, where a leader or leadership group holds unchecked power and is not answerable to any external authority.
We have all seen this, right? The “PREP” act was successful in giving government, doctors, hospitals, corporations, places of employment, and other organizations free reign to do whatever they want in case of an “emergency.” This gives the cult leadership the confidence they need to steer their cult members in whatever direction they feel their “flock” should go.
2. Zero tolerance for criticism, questions, or discouraging or punishing any form of doubt or inquiry.
This was/is witnessed by many of us when doctors, real scientists, social media influencers, and even the senior citizen down the street were shamed, doxed, jailed, lost jobs, beaten (in some cases), and shunned by the “tribe” (cult) for daring to bring up any other doctrine besides the approved doctrine handed down from the cult leadership.
3. Cults often isolate their members from family and friends (especially if those people do not believe in the tenets of the cult faith) and encourage blind subservience to “the group” and/or its leader, often promoting a belief that the leader is the exclusive source of truth or validation.
How about that one? Social distancing. “Lockdowns.” Banning Christmas and Thanksgiving with family and friends. We all saw and/or witnessed this type of cult behavior first hand. We were told to follow “the science” (in many cases, the face of the cult was Dr Fauci). Only, and they meant ONLY, government, “health officials,” the President, and corporate media had the answer. The vaunted truth. Cult members were not allowed to step outside the approved “box of truth.”
4. Cults and their leadership may foster an unreasonable fear of the outside world, often involving narratives of evil conspiracies, persecution, or impending catastrophe.
We saw (and are seeing) this as well. Scary “viruses.” Scary weather. Scary people. Scary food. Scary (fill in the blank). If you do not do what you are told, we are all going to die. If you do not sacrifice for the “common good” you are destroying “democracy” and killing your friends, neighbors, and family.
5. Cult members are expected and/or required to live and socialize only with other cult members.
Stay away from that person over there! They do not believe like we do! Shun Grandma because she is not flying a Ukrainian, Israel, or Trans flag! You must stay within your group and never venture out where you will be exposed to viewpoints that differ from the cult think.
6. The cult may also be elitist, claiming a special or exalted status for itself and its members, and may even teach that its ends justify *any* means, leading members to participate in unethical behaviors they would not have considered otherwise.
“Doctors” who know the truth about “vaccines” and give them anyway for money, or to make sure they are not excommunicated by the cult. Corporations who willfully make dangerous products and, instead of making them safer, proclaim “some people may die, but the benefits outweigh the risk.” People and police officers beating half to death someone for daring not to wear an oxygen depriving mask.
This is not an endless list. There are many other characteristics that we must overcome before being able to steer the lost toward the truth. The cults of “vaccinology,” “health care,” *politics* and so many others are incredibly powerful, and they show no signs of letting up on their religious fervor anytime soon.
We have a choice to make. Do we keep trying to reach these cult members or do we just throw our hands in the air and stay with our tribe (and in so doing, risk becoming a cult ourselves)?
I do not know what the answer is. I wish I had an answer. I believe knowing that those who are part of these popular cults are under a spell is important. They are part of a great delusion. A doctrine that has been ingrained in them for their entire lives. If we can start viewing these lost souls from the perspective that they are literally in a cult, we may be able to adjust our tactics and, maybe, just maybe… we can reach them.

I've been writing this post for a few years now, and you beat me to it. Well done! I'm a Leftist but there's no one for me to vote for now as all Democrats and Greens running for public office are members of this cult you so aptly described. It's got to be the largest cult in the world.
I finally am getting through the hoards of emails I seem to collect in oh, twenty minutes or so... !!!
Good post, I've been struggling with this issue for... nearly 6 years now. I've been treated so badly, it's greatly tempting to simply STFU and let people ... do whatever. DIE? It makes me unwilling to just let it all go and not care anymore.
So HOW?
I'm still tossing it around. I've not approached THAT many, and if I do, I usually stick to ONE thing, because giving people a laundry list of everything that's going on is SUPER overwhelming!! And that's not hard to understand!
But as we go along with the Jab issue, it seems that more and more people are beginning to understand what the OUTCOME of jabs might be, even if telling them this was PLANNED makes them shy away like you told them they're not really human after all, we discovered a different, fake race that LOOKS and SEEMS Human, but isn't, and... YOU are one of THEM. lol
Stuff apparently seems just that outlandish.
But you know, I remember when I found out that Insane, Genocidal Oligarchs want to kill us all, and being a bit put out with that, but I didn't think it was beyond possibility. I've been a skeptic for a long long time. I don't know what separates those of us who are skeptical and those who are not, but I'd venture to say it's a kind of laziness. Hey, I have my moments of laziness, but they are mostly physical, not intellectual. So... I can't figure it all out, this How To Educate, or whatever, and frankly, I've lost a fair amount of my desire to try, after having the shit beaten out of me in various ways... But I would like to be able to WARN people about dangerous things, especially if they can learn how to mitigate or avoid altogether. I think there are many of us trying to find a way.
So... Onward. I will be (woof!) dogged in my search for the Best Means of being the Guard Dog that I naturally am.
Cheers, Rob D, we are of the same cloth, I do believe, although my cloth has more FUR. ;)
