[secede] -- antibiotics
Western sickcare does everything it can to promote dependence. One of its more humiliating diktats is requiring a prescription to obtain basic antibiotics. Even if we know exactly what is wrong with us and what will fix it, we are forced to kneel before the White Coat and beg to be treated. The message is clear — doctors have ultimate authority over our bodies. Our health depends upon staying in their good graces.
To get around this obstacle, some in the prepper community stockpile animal antibiotics. These drugs are cheap, widely available, and do not require a prescription. Of course, not all animal medicines are suitable for human consumption. In The Ultimate Survival Medicine Guide, Dr. Joseph Alton identifies two criteria for using animal medicine to treat human infections.
(1) The drug must be single ingredient.
(2) The animal pill or capsule must be identical to the corresponding human pill or capsule.
Happily, a number of fish and bird antibiotics fit these guidelines. Here is a list of the antibiotics that Dr. Alton recommends. Dosages, courses, and specific use cases are outside the scope of this post. Readers are encouraged to consult the Physicians’ Desk Reference or other reputable source. Everyone must take personal responsibility for his health.

Dr. Alton’s book is premised on the idea of a “collapse” in which modern medical facilities are suddenly unavailable. After covid, it appears much more likely that medical care will become a political bargaining chip. It will be impossible to mount an effective resistance to a totalitarian state if minor infections are enough to knock us down. We must start thinking now about what we will do if and when treatment is denied.
