I know that tensions are high in the world and people are on edge about a lot of things. I humbly request that commenters on my posts please keep it civil, on topic and avoid any kind of petty arguments. I love reading viewpoints I disagree with and that I agree with. And if I misunderstand where someone is coming from, I will try to ask the commenter before reacting to what they've said. Please everyone, show each other courtesy and kindness as much as possible. Those of us here are so important to the future of society and we cannot afford to squabble amongst ourselves. When we do, the enemies of everything good rub their hands together in glee. I will leave comments alone for the most part, but if it gets too crazy, I'll delete them. I would hate to ever do that because it kinda goes against everything I believe about speech. Do let's disagree with one another if we must, but let's always be cordial and walk away if we have to. Thank you all for being here. Now, let's go fight tyranny, and not each other. 🙂

When someone is in control of their own life, adult to death, that person must plan for the long term or suffer in one way or another along life's path. When I became an adult, I had to get through the immediate but had an eye on what is next e.g., buying a car, a home, etc., etc. I believed that it was up to me to provide the means to achieve the things in life that would allow me to live and to experience some joy (marry, raise children, build and maintain my castle (home) the way that I (and my spouse/family) thought best.

It seems that the latest couple of generations have been fed a lie (mostly by "educational" institutions but also media and government) that they will never be able to achieve these things in any meaningful way and that their very existence is dependent on the assistance of the government. They have been taught that their parents, grandparents, especially if they are white, have co-opted opportunity and now there isn't enough opportunity for everyone. Such BS, I know but if the latest generations are not being told the truth, then they will believe what they are told. "You will own nothing and be happy". They don't know how to work towards the big goals (home ownership) and tend to focus on the "be happy" part.

I have read that there is a half dozen or so uber rich families who have been controlling the world through central bank financing from behind the scenes for centuries. I believe that there is at least some truth to this as I can find no other answer that can encompass such a large impact on various nations, societies over a long period of time. These wealthy families are thinking very long term and with their families' futures in mind. Everyone else are pawns if we choose to be.

When I tell a young person (twenty something) that they have a choice to be free or to be a slave they have no response as they did not know there was a choice to be made.

I believe that free-will thinking should guide the human species forward and not top-down control. If people give up their free-will for three hots and a cot, so be it, but not for me.
