This is awesome. Just found your substack, from your comment on el gato. El gato is great, but what we need the most, I think, are really practical suggestions, and lots of them. Nobody can think of everything; some of us need a lot of help coming up with practical dos and don'ts. So I encourage you to do more of this.

And you are a pretty good writer, incidentally.

I am very happy to report I've either been doing or started recently doing over 75% of your list. I haven't watched the news in years. I've found my life has become much less stressful. I grow several herbs, I only shop local and the list goes on. Some things on your list are new ideas for me. Thank you for so much great information, ideas and advice!

I'll have to say Rob D, I truly loved your post.

So much truth in the list you provided, for instance I have done some of these things on your list, and it has made my life easier to live and must comfortable.

I agree with you that we American's need to make a stand for easier living and prevent ourselves from stressing out over general BS, the so called government that is suppose to be doing good for American's instead of running for "office" and once that they are voted, they go back on their promises and look out for NO 1 themselves.

Great ideas, Rob. I especially want to start growing, at least some of my own food. I think about the "pandemic" in 2020 where the government decided which stores could stay open and I think what if they decided to shut down every store and people could only get food from government distribution centers. First, no telling what they would feed you and second, you would be depending on an agency that may not have your best interests in mind for your very survival.

I'll be taking this one on as a "must do".

Also looking forward to hearing what other people are doing.

I agree with you. And I'm not one of those "dutifully following" anything. I'm already doing most of what you name. It's called Non-Compliance. Yep, it's a good idea. All good ideas.

What you're leaving out of the equation, as far as I can see, is the fact that we are being bombarded with EMF's ALL THE TIME, there are mRNA bombs in our food, bottled water, being sprayed over us, and who knows where else. The plan is clearly to get more and more of the broadly administered G's, as in 3G, 4G, 5G, and coming soon, 6G, set up, put into the SKY, even. We can all go do all these things to remove ourselves from compliance, participation in local initiatives, and so forth, but I don't see how we can all escape radiation poisoning when it is used on us and against us. It's already in hospitals, schools, shopping areas, all over the place you can see with your own eyes the 5G towers. I have felt the effects while in my house. No one is immune to this.

I believe you to be a very good-hearted person, I like you. But I do wonder if you are not realizing the depth of EVIL we are facing... I think there's a point of departure from the idea, which I also believe in, strongly, of using our minds to affect change; I think sometimes we have to use our physicality as well, to directly cause problems for the attackers. And as I continue to say, repeatedly, because people continue to have an idea that there is only ONE form of action available to us, as in, violence, there are PLENTY of things we can do to muck up this plan. You've listed some of them, but I would include some actual oppositional action as well, and NOT by violence... Because we are on Substack I am not going to go into a lot of detail. History is a great provider of ideas of what can work... We could read about the French Resistance during WWII, for instance.

Hi Rob. I just found The Rumble Strip from your comment on Plebian resistance. You give a lot of terrific advice: how refreshing! I think your common sense approach, coupled with your kind encouragement, is what many people need right now. Thank you!

What I'm most interested in at the moment is alternate power sources, in case the power goes out (or is cut off) for an extended period of time (which doesn't have to be long to be very damaging). Portable solar and/or propane generators, etc.
