Well, I cannot speak for everyone reading your article, and I don't "live on the edge", and I know there's tons of controversy over everything you stated due to safety rules and blah, blah, blah.....BUT!, I promise you if my kid needs a woop on the rear, (not a beating), I don't care what the law says, I'm going to jail because I will be the parent to do it.

People need to take back there rights. I personally don't give a hoot what people think if I violate anything on this list.

BTW...I will continue to do my own plumbing, and change my own light switches. And if anyone tells me I can't go into their establishment due to a mask mandate etc., BYE FELICIA!

Great list! I hope the kids of today will have a long list of freedoms they've GAINED by the time they get to be my age...too many choices are being robbed of us. (Or rather, we're being given "choices" in the same fake way we've been urged to give them to our children: "Do you want the RED cup or the BLUE cup?")

Absolutely Ms Diana! As I stated in my piece, yeah, some liberties "seem" really bad! I was one of those kids I mentioned that climbed from the back to the front of the convertible with the top down heading down the highway with parents. Probably not a good idea, but it wasn't the government's responsibility to make a "law" or a "rule" to keep us safe from that scenario (or any others) To mandate that from now on we need to literally strap kids into a car seat in the back seat of the auto, facing the back (in lots of cases). One has to wonder, how many people have *really* died or been hurt by some of the "bad" choices that we've made? I reckon those numbers are very small (forgive me for not researching that). The excuse used, "if it saves just one life" is just that: An excuse to impose someone else's will on society as a whole. And the amazing thing is: Submission to these rules (not just the example I gave, but *all* liberty stealing rules) is why we still have them. Sorry for the long addition to your comment and thank you so much for contributing your input to: The Rumble Strip.

Oh, but look at what we've gained... The right for cross-dressing men to use women's public restrooms. The trade-off is totally worth it!
