My Other Projects
Christians, please feel free to check out my other stacks!
I’ve never made it a secret that I call myself a Christian. I try to keep my opinions about “religion” out of “The Rumble Strip” because, even though I believe that many of the issues facing the world really do have “another side” (a spiritual side) to them, I also like to approach those issues from a secular point of view as well. The point of view that most people understand.
That being said, I know some of those who subscribe to and/or follow “The Rumble Strip” are people of faith as well. Almost 3 years ago I began my podcast “Walking the Psalms.” That project has been completed (as of 01/19/2026) and I have now started a new project: “Walking the New Testament” with the first episode dropping 01/26/2026.
If any of you are interested, please feel free to check out the “starting” page and if you would like, please subscribe. Once the podcasts start being uploaded it should only be about a week until they will be available on Spotify (and possibly a few other platforms) as well.
Or, if you already know you would like to subscribe, you can do that easily here:
Also, if you would like to hear all, or some, of the episodes of Walking the Psalms, you can check that out here, or search for “Walking the Psalms Rob D” on Spotify:
Thank you for supporting my projects. It means a lot. I never ask for any money for any of these projects, and I don’t even have any of them setup to take money. I do all of what I do because I believe in the work itself, not to “get something” from others.
Thanks to all of you who have supported and engaged on “The Rumble Strip” over the years. Maybe I’ll see a few of you at “Walking the New Testament” as well.
Stay free, and never ask for permission from the government to stay healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually! Make those choices on your own, and damn anyone who tries to stand in the way from you making those personal choices for yourself and your family. We should never wait for government to tell us it is okay to eat right, choose what health treatments work for us, or tell us it is okay to pray or read religious materials.

The last part reminded me of my disgust for municipalities that require permits for protests. That's the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard, and it goes against the values of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.
