I think back in My younger days we had neighbors or friends that were not so friendly at times, but when My parents got to know then real good they weren't so bad after all

I know there are times when we ourselves sort of " Jump the Gun " and tend to be on the defensive. I've found back in the day, I was kind of jump the gunnish like at people too. But I'm very thankful Rob that I grew up

Wiser, Smarter, a Christain Man and more respectable, even towards people I don't know from Adam. Yes this Season is about the joy and the giving of that joy and love to one another. For God is Love and a beautiful Baby named Jesus ( who was God in the flesh) is and should be the only reason we celebrate this glorious time of the year.

Merry Christmas Rob and a Happy New Year.

I have never had a grumpy neighbor, but I have heard of plenty. I'm real glad you mustered up that courage and did the right thing. Sometimes, if we don't take that first step, we may have just missed out on the best thing in our lives. These new neighbors of yours, that are now your friends, could save your life someday, or vise versa. Their children could be the ones carrying in your groceries, the wife could be the one making you chicken soup when your sick. Who knows. But wouldn't it be a better world, if all the "grumpy old men in the house on the corner", would just muster up the courage like you did, and just be nice....Have a very Merry Christmas, and enjoy your new gift of friendship. 😊

What a beautiful piece of writing. Thank you. xo

Got me all choked up, which is outrageously easy for me these days, but still...

The curmudgeon saves Christmas. Hard to believe their kids are that quiet, screen time?

Haha. Unfortunately, probably screen time. Sigh.
