Reading this reminded me of a social media post I saw yesterday. It was an image of the eclipse in the sky with hundreds of people floating up to it, captioning, the world was ending. Well, I hate to break it to them, but that's an impossible prediction.

I sat outside sipping coffee, in a chair, watching it slowly get darker, calmer outside and no wind. It was lovely.

Then boom, it was over. Hmmmm, why am I still here and not floating magically towards the sky. It pretty much goes to show how naive and arrogant people can be. Has no one realized yet, that the media for the most part is a bunch of, well, fiction. Some truths, but mostly fiction. So as I sit here today, not floating, I hope all the sane people understand how silly all the hype was. Lol

Why were there no "emergencies" during the eclipse? I would venture to say that maybe, just maybe, while we were all (rightfully) preoccupied by the eclipse, something or maybe lots of somethings were occurring that may never be told to us until "they" deem it appropriate to do so. This is just speculation but I'm well aware that plenty does happen especially while we're distracted.
